Rapper Coi Leray is expecting a baby with fellow hip-hop star Trippie Redd.
The “No More Parties” rapper took to Instagram Wednesday to announce her pregnancy with a photo carousel showing off her baby bump alongside Trippie Redd. She captioned the post, “I’m a rock star mommy 💋 we ready for 2025 🖤.”
The post featured photos of a drawing with “Mommy” in cursive script alongside a photo of Stitch from Disney classic “Lilo & Stitch,” Leray clutching her bump and the pair side by side by a ping-pong table celebrating their new arrival.
Other artists were quick to congratulate the mother-to-be in the comment section. Kehlani wrote “CUUUUTEEEEEEEEEEE” and Glorilla commented “Congrats coi ! 😍😍😍.” Singer Shenseea commented, “Congrats! You finally got what you wanted ♥️ you’re gonna loveee the journey sis,” while H.E.R. wrote, “OMGGGGG. CONGRATS” on the post.

Adding their voices to the hip-hop sisterhood wishing Leray luck, “Love & Hip Hop: New York” star DreamDoll wrote, “Omgggg congratulations baby ❤️❤️❤️” and Atlanta-born rapper Anycia wrote “mama coi is ab to hit different.”
This will be the pair’s first child together, punctuating a second-chance romance. After dating briefly in 2019, the two split and Redd dropped a breakup song titled “Leray” with lyrics that revealed no love lost.

In 2024, Redd, 25, and Leray, 27, seemingly relocated the spark though. Redd confirmed their rekindled romance to TMZ in September and revealed they might end up back in the studio together as well.
Both artists represent a newer wave in rap with a techno-heavy sound and mind-numbingly quick rhymes.
Leray is the daughter of rap star Benzino, a longtime rival of Eminem. Benzino moved beyond music to the production side and has starred on “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” since 2012. He also co-owned hip-hop publication The Source, which he recently claimed intentionally withheld star ratings from Eminem.
Leray has publicly feuded with her father in recent years, sharing on an episode of the “IRL” podcast that she felt he had become jealous of her success. Benzino later hit back on Instagram, BET reported, writing in a since-deleted post: “In my 40 years in hip hop I’ve never ever seen an artist DOG their parents out the was (sic) Coi does and it’s embarrassing and sad.”
