Following her dramatic win on SmackDown’s historic three-hour debut, “The Game” took to Twitter to share his signature finger-pointing photo alongside Stratton, captioning it, “Fortune favors the bold, and tonight @tiffanywwe was as bold as you can be. Congratulations to the NEW WWE Women’s Champion.”
Stratton’s triumph didn’t come easy. The January 3 SmackDown at the Footprint Center in Phoenix, Arizona, saw Nia Jax defend her title against Naomi in a highly competitive match. With fans on the edge of their seats, the match took a shocking turn when Stratton emerged with her Money in the Bank briefcase. What looked like a standard cash-in turned into chaos, as Stratton first distracted Naomi and Jax before taking out Candice LeRae and Nia Jax with a flurry of attacks.
With the stage set, Stratton executed her Prettiest Moonsault Ever on Bianca Belair, who had entered the fray, to clinch the championship. Fireworks lit up the arena as Stratton celebrated her newfound reign in front of a roaring crowd.
