Anthony Mackie gave a shoutout to fellow Marvel star Sebastian Stan at the Golden Globes, making it clear heās still friendly with his The Falcon and the Winter Soldier co-star.
Mackie took the stage at the award show alongside his Captain America: Brave New World co-star Harrison Ford to present the Best Animated Motion Picture award.
After the nominees were presented, Mackie took a moment to show Stan some love.
āWeāre still friends with Sebastian Stan, by the way,ā Mackie said as he looked around the ballroom looking for him.
Mackie then made a hand heart expressing his love for his fellow Avengers star. Stan was one of the Golden Globes winners, picking up a trophy for A Different Man in the Best Performance in a Motion Picture ā Musical or Comedy category.
The Captain America: The Winter Soldier star recently made headlines calling out Hollywood actors out for not wanting to associate themselves with his movie The Apprentice, where he portrayed Donald Trump.
Stan said he was invited to appear in a series where actors interview other actors about their film but didnāt end up doing it because no other actors were willing to talk about the movie.
āThey were too afraid to go and talk about this movie, so I couldnāt do it,ā Stan said at a screening for The Apprentice. āThatās not pointing at anyone specific. We couldnāt get past the publicists or the people representing them because they were too afraid to talk about this movie.ā
Stan is also nominated at the 2025 Golden Globes in the Best Performance in a Motion Picture ā Drama category for his work on The Apprentice portraying a young Donald Trump. Other actors nominated in the same category include Adrien Brody (The Brutalist), TimothĆ©e Chalamet (A Complete Unknown), Daniel Craig (Queer), Colman Domingo (Sing Sing), and Ralph Fiennes (Conclave).
Mackie and Stan have shared credits on screen as part of the MCU, where Mackie plays Sam Wilson, the Falcon, and Stan plays Bucky Barnes, the Winter Soldier.
