Meek Mill Speaks On Jay-Z After Explosive Sexual Assault Lawsuit Drops
The rapper took to X and called “American media totally unbelievable.”
If you haven’t heard, Shawn Carter, known as Jay-Z, was accused, along with Sean “Diddy” Combs, of raping a 13-year-old girl over 20 years ago, in a lawsuit that was refiled on Sunday. News of the lawsuit hit the internet on Sunday evening, with many running to social media to break down the shocking allegations that’s rocking the music industry.
Rapper Meek Mill posted on X, formerly known as Twitter, mere hours after NBC News first reported the lawsuit. “The goal is to start false narrative to create a matrix web,” he wrote in the post. “If you can control the story line you can control the matrix …. American media is totally unbelievable! I see “Jayz “ _ a 13 year old girl 300 times scrolling it’s called programming.”
People certainly had thoughts for Mill and his timely post regarding the lawsuit, with one user writing that he “is not helping” the situation with his statement. Others quipped about the confusing nature of Mill’s statement, writing, “Your day could already be going bad & here come Meek tweeting riddles.”
Many on social media were also quick to point out Mill’s once-close proximity to Sean “Diddy” Combs, who has faced a slew of lawsuits and sexual assault allegations. As we reported in September, Mill took to social media in the wake of his name being mentioned consistently during the Diddy news cycle, offering money to clear his name from the disgraced rap mogul.
He wrote at the time, “I wanna hire an investigative team 100k cash to find out every specific detail involving meek mill name to ‘Diddy’ Case…. I also want them to look at who is powering the media involving ‘meek’ anything to do with buddy! ‘Something not right.’”
As for the recently refiled lawsuit that names both Jay-Z and Diddy, the accuser remains anonymous and is identified as Jane Doe. In the suit, she claims that she was raped in 2000 by both Combs and Carter at a house party after the MTV Video Music Awards in New York City.
