Fans are wondering whether a Marvel return for Jonathan Majors‘ Kang is in the cards. This was after the actor’s ex-girlfriend Grace Jabbari, dismissed the federal lawsuit, plaguing him since March, where he was alleged to have defamed her. He was also convicted of two misdemeanor charges in December 2023, for assaulting Jabbari in an SUV’s backseat.

No, Jonathan Majors is not confirmed to return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Kang.
A possibility for Marvel to potentially rehire him following the lawsuit’s dismissal is there. However, this might not happen, and he may not even return for a cameo, as Marvel has already moved away from the Kang storyline and repurposed the fifth and sixth Avengers films, Doomsday and Secret Wars, to instead focus on Robert Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom.

Despite this, Majors’ acting career is now heading in a positive direction. The actor has been cast in the lead role in Martin Villeneuve’s film, Merciless. He is also scheduled to star in Elijah Bynum’s Magazine Dreams, now set to be produced by Briarcliff Entertainment, after Searchlight Pictures had pulled it out of their schedule and dropped it, in the wake of Majors’ assault allegations. Magazine Dreams earlier premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in January 2023.
He has also faced a positive development in his personal life. He was recently engaged to actress Meagan Good, whom he had been dating since May 2023. They confirmed their engagement to E! News, at the EBONY Power 100 Gala in Los Angeles. Here, they also revealed that the EBONY Power 100 Gala was the very event where they first met, two years prior, at a “unisex bathroom.”
