🎬 Pool Shark (2016) – Full Plot Summary
On a bright summer afternoon, a boy named Tyler and his younger sister Lisa are enjoying a playful day in their backyard swimming pool. The sun is shining, the water is calm, and everything seems perfectly ordinary.
As Tyler dives underwater, he suddenly notices something strange beneath the surface — a dark shadow quickly moving at the bottom of the pool. At first, he thinks it’s just a trick of the light, but then the shape reappears. His expression shifts from curiosity to fear. It’s a shark — in their pool.
Startled and unsure of what he saw, Tyler gets out of the water and calls for Lisa to stay back. But Lisa, unaware of the danger, jumps into the pool and starts playing. Tyler tries to warn her, but it’s too late. The shark begins circling beneath them.
Panic sets in. Tyler leaps back into the water, trying to reach his sister. The siblings swim desperately, attempting to escape the predator in a place that should be safe. The tension rises as the shark lunges closer, its fin cutting through the water.
Using quick thinking, Tyler grabs a pool float and pulls Lisa up. They scramble to the edge, narrowly escaping an attack. As they get out, panting and soaked, they stare in disbelief at the still waters. The shark’s shadow fades beneath the surface.
The film ends with the once-calm pool now a silent, ominous place. Tyler and Lisa, shaken but alive, have survived the unthinkable — a shark attack in their own backyard.
