Diddy Invites 12-Year-Old ‘Ring’ Actress Daveigh Chase to Party in Resurfaced Video
A new video of Sean “Diddy” Combs has resurfaced in light of his recent misconduct scandal.
Diddy, now 54, was spotted speaking to The Ring actress Daveigh Chase, who was 12 at the time, backstage at the 2003 MTV Movie Awards. (Diddy was 33 at the time.)
“You coming to the afterparty tonight?” Diddy asked Chase, now 34, in the clip, which has been circulating on X following the music mogul’s arrest last month.
Chase coyly nodded while Diddy burst into laughter. Neither Diddy nor Chase have further addressed the interaction. Us Weekly has reached out for comment.
Diddy Predicted He Would Be Arrested for His Parties in Resurfaced Interview
During the awards show, Diddy and actor Ashton Kutcher presented Chase with the Best Villain trophy for her role as Samara in the 2002 horror film The Ring.

“I just want to say, ‘Everyone will suffer,’” Chase said in her acceptance speech, using Samara’s signature accent before Diddy handed her the golden popcorn statuette. “Thanks, MTV rocks!”
It is not known whether Chase and Diddy crossed paths at the MTV Movie Awards afterparty.
The disgraced rapper’s behaviors throughout his tenure in the limelight have recently raised eyebrows. Diddy was arrested in September on charges of sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy and transportation to engage in prostitution.

In a 14-page indictment, which cited Diddy’s famed parties as apparent proof of the claims, the rapper allegedly “abused, threatened and coerced women and others around him” for decades. Diddy was also accused of using the acts to fulfill “his sexual desires, protect his reputation and conceal his conduct.”
Diddy pleaded not guilty to the charges before a judge denied him bail on three separate attempts. He was remanded to the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn until his trial, which is set to begin in early 2025.

“We are disappointed with the decision to pursue what we believe is an unjust prosecution of Mr. Combs by the U.S. Attorney’s Office,” Diddy’s attorney Marc Agnifilo told Us Weekly in a statement. “Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs is a music icon, self-made entrepreneur, loving family man and proven philanthropist who has spent the last 30 years building an empire, adoring his children and working to uplift the Black community.”
Agnifilo added, “He is an imperfect person, but he is not a criminal. To his credit, Mr. Combs has been nothing but cooperative with this investigation and he voluntarily relocated to New York last week in anticipation of these charges. Please reserve your judgment until you have all the facts. These are the acts of an innocent man with nothing to hide, and he looks forward to clearing his name in court.”
Earlier this month, Diddy was also accused of sexual assault and rape by multiple individuals, including a 13-year-old girl and a 16-year-old boy. Diddy, who has consistently denied every allegation against him since 2023, has not publicly addressed the new lawsuits. Us reached out for comment.
Test mules are fascinating—the skin of a production car draped over sometimes half-baked and always high-cost development parts. If you live near a major automaker’s headquarters or test site, you’ve probably seen a test mule and didn’t even bat an eye. However, this BMW M2 test bed might have piqued your interest if you saw it quietly moving through traffic.
In the second episode of its YouTube series, BMW M Electrified, the brand showed off more of its upcoming EV sports-sedan tester. The episode picks up where the last left off, and it turns out the board of directors likes the engineering team’s work—not a huge surprise to see from a brand’s official video series.
What is surprising is that the company shows off some of its older work, namely an EV-swapped M2. This car was used to test vehicle dynamics and the battery-electric powertrain. According to Michael Sailer, functional development BMW M driving dynamics, this test bed earned the nickname the “Beast.”
As we see in the video above, Sailer outlines that the Beast wasn’t exactly refined. He says it lacked calmness and describes it as “really hard to control.” He peels the curtain back further and explains that this project started with a small team back in 2018.
