Dominik Mysterio Disobeyed Stern Instructions To Maintain Kayfabe At WWE WrestleMania 39
Dominik Mysterio is arguably one of the most popular heels right now.
Betraying his father and Edge at Clash at the Castle 2022, turned out to be one of the most vital points of Dominik Mysterio’s career. Embracing his evil side and maintaining the fine line between kayfabe and reality, Mysterio has quickly climbed the ladder of success.
At WrestleMania 39, things got heated when Rey Mysterio clashed against his son, ‘Dirty Dom’. While the Hall of Famer scored the victory in the match, one moment in it, saw Dom flipping a cup of water over his sister.
Aalyah Mysterio was present at ringside, watching things unfold between her father and brother. However, ‘Dirty Dom’ had other plans for his sister. Seemingly increasing his heat, fans witnessed him interact with his family despite having instructions not to.

During his recent appearance on No Contest Wrestling with O’Shea Jackson Jr. & TJ Jefferson, the former NXT North American Champion revealed what went down that night, and shared more details on the instructions.
At WrestleMania 39, I was pulled aside by, I won’t specify who, and they said, ‘Don’t do anything to your family up front. If there is something there, don’t touch it. Stay away.’ I was like, ‘Alright.’ I asked them, ‘How serious are we about me staying away? My mother did try and slap me a couple of times.’ I pushed the buttons a little bit. We started the match and I see that….as stupid as she [Dominik’s sister Aalyah] is, she is holding this red cup right in front. Just posted up there.
You’re just asking for something, either me slapping it or…at first I took it. I originally wanted to take a sip of water. I look at it and I realize there wasn’t too much in there. I figured, ‘Let’s just throw it in her face. It’s not like she is going to hop over (the rail),’ and if for whatever reason she hop over and put her hands on me, that’s assault. I would have hit her back. Or security would have tackled her. She needed to be taken care of.”
Recovering from his loss at ‘Mania 39, Mysterio teamed up with Santos Escobar to take on his father and Andrade in a losing bout at WWE WrestleMania XL.
With three losses at ‘Mania, Mysterio recently opened up on having a record similar to a Hall of Famer.

Dominik Mysterio Hopes To Achieve A Record Similar To The Undertaker
While Mysterio is 0-3 at ‘Mania, The Undertaker boasts a mighty 25-2 WrestleMania record. With 21 consecutive victories at The Grandest Stage of them all, Dominik Mysterio hopes to match the record, but with losses.
During his appearance on No Contest Wrestling with O’Shea Jackson Jr. & TJ Jefferson, Mysterio shared more details on it.
I’m 0-3 at Mania. 0-3, which is crazy. I’m going to be the opposite of The Undertaker.”
Design Miami 2015: traditional automotive brands “don’t need to be scared” of upstarts including Tesla and Apple – and the cars of the future may not be electric, according to Audi’s head of experiential marketing. Other power sources including fuel cells may turn out to be more effective than batteries, Bernhard Neumann told Dezeen, although he said “the end of the combustion engine will come for sure.” When asked whether brands like Audi felt threatened by the hype around battery-powered electric vehicles being developed by American companies, Neumann said: “I don’t think we need to be scared. We are very aware and we are adapting very fast.” Californian company Tesla has led the charge towards electric cars, launching the Tesla Roadster in 2008, and Apple is widely expected to follow suit.
Mainstream rivals have since raced to catch up and develop battery-powered vehicles. BMW launched its first electric car, the i3, in 2013 while Porsche unveiled its first all-electric sports car in September.
But while petrol is on its way out as a fuel source, its replacement is not yet certain, Neumann added. “That is the million-dollar question. Everybody is thinking now that it is electric, but I also see alternatives. For example the fuel cell.”
Neumann spoke to Dezeen at Design Miami in Florida last week, where the brand presented its forthcoming E-tron Quattro electric sport-utility vehicle. This will be the German car brand’s first all-electric car when it goes on sale in 2018. Yet Audi is hedging its bets, and will also next year showcase a version powered by fuel cells, which convert energy from fuels such as hydrogen into electricity via a chemical reaction rather than combustion.
Audi is also joining Tesla, Google, Apple and others by developing concepts for driverless cars, adapting its RS 7 performance cars to travel at speed around race tracks without a driver. Sven Schuwirth, vice president of brand strategy and digital business at the brand, told Dezeen last month that autonomous vehicles could “disrupt the entire business of domestic flights” as business travellers sleep in their cars rather than fly.
